57th Primetime Emmy Nominees Now Available


Nominations for the 57th Annual Primetime Emmys have been announced this Thursday, July 14, at 5:30 a.m

The Emmy Awards are administered by three sister organizations; the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

The Emmy Awards recognize excellence within various areas of the television industry. The awards are a symbol of peer recognition from over 12,000 members of the Academy. Each member casts a ballot for the category of competition in their field of expertise.

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences administers categories in daytime, sports, news and documentary programming. The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences administers categories for international regions.

Primetime Awards

The annual Primetime Emmy Awards celebrate excellence in national prime-time programming, awarding top honors during the creative arts awards and the prime-time telecast.
Daytime Awards

The Daytime Emmy Awards are under the jurisdiction of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in New York, and are administered in cooperation with the Academy.
L.A. Area Awards

The annual Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards honor local programming in the LA area, with its structure the responsibility of the Los Angeles Area Awards Committee.
